How To Add a Cathay Pacific Discount Code

Using a Cathay Pacific promo code is pretty simple once you know where to find the option on the booking form. Here’s how I normally do it when I’m booking flights on their site.

  Go to the Cathay Pacific homepage and make sure the “Book a trip” tab is selected. Under “Book flights”, choose your departure airport (for example, Bucharest), destination, trip type (one-way or return), cabin class and number of passengers. Then pick your departure and return dates from the calendar.

  Before you rush to hit “Search flights”, glance at the bottom left of the booking box. You’ll see a small link that says “Add a discount code →”. It’s easy to overlook because it sits below the date fields, but this is where all Cathay Pacific promo codes are entered.

  Click “Add a discount code” and a little field will slide open. This is where you type or paste the code you received from an email campaign, partner offer or corporate deal. I always copy–paste the code directly to avoid mistakes, as they usually mix letters and numbers.

  Once your Cathay Pacific discount code is in place, leave the rest of your details as they are and click “Search flights” on the right. The system will apply the promotion as it loads the available fares, so the prices you see should already reflect any eligible discount or special fare linked to that code.

  When the flight options appear, I like to double-check the fare rules or price breakdown to make sure the code actually did something. If the prices look unchanged, the code may not be valid for your route, dates or cabin class, or it might have expired. In that case, it’s worth trying another Cathay Pacific promo or adjusting your travel dates slightly.
